The attainment of Cyber Essentials Plus certification by AWS underscores our dedication to mitigating risks associated with common internet-based threats, in accordance with the UK Government’s 10 Steps to Cyber Security. This certification is recognised by several industry bodies, including the Federation of Small Businesses and the Confederation of British Industry, as well as numerous insurance organisations that provide incentives for businesses that achieve this certification.

Cyber Essentials delineates the requisite technical controls, while the associated assurance framework elucidates the independent assurance process integral to Cyber Essentials Plus certification. This process involves conducting an annual external assessment by an accredited assessor. It is important to note that the certification’s scope is confined to corporate networks situated in the United Kingdom, Ireland, and Germany, explicitly excluding all other networks.
