In 2020, Supacat partnered with Soucy Defense, a Canadian world leader in composite rubber track technology. This strategic collaboration now leverages our combined global presence to deliver superior training and support solutions to military customers worldwide.
Our Strategic Alliance
Our teaming agreement with Soucy Defense evolved naturally from years of collaboration. By formalizing our partnership, we have streamlined cooperation and enhanced support delivery across multiple markets. With Supacat facilities in the UK, Australia, and New Zealand, we provide crucial in-market support for Soucy’s innovative technology.
Proven Results in Australia
In January 2025, we demonstrated the partnership’s value during the conversion of the Australian Defence Force AS4 and ALV vehicles from steel tracks to Soucy’s Composite Rubber Tracks (CRT). Our Melbourne team coordinated workshop facilities, managed logistics, and worked alongside Soucy personnel to ensure seamless project delivery.
As part of the conversion, we delivered hands-on operator training directly to ADF soldiers. Our local presence and established military relationships enabled efficient, expert training that ensured personnel gained confidence with the new CRT technology.
Future Opportunities
We are currently exploring further collaboration on new defence programs, including potential training support for the AS21 Redback IFV program. This advanced platform, selected to replace the M113 AS4 fleet, will feature Soucy’s CRT technology and our established Australian presence positions us to deliver effective local training and support.
The Power of Our Partnership
Our collaboration with Soucy Defense exemplifies the value of international cooperation in defence. By combining Soucy’s innovative technology with our global service capabilities, we can now deliver comprehensive solutions that enhance military operational effectiveness across diverse terrains.
